Day 4: Approx 6-7 hours This is the hard day as you cross 2 passes about 5400m high. This is ascending the first pass and looking back down at our last night's campsite. As we gain altitude to 5000m you can start to glimpse the rugged yet mutedly colourful hills and peaks of the Changthang Plateau region in south-eastern Ladakh. |
