English: Spanning the Potomac River, the Francis Scott Key Bridge connects the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, D.C., U.S.A. with the Rosslyn neighborhood of Arlington County, Virginia, U.S.A. This view at the river bank on the D.C. side from early February 2004 shows the ice beginning to melt and crack from the frozen Potomac River. The Art Deco bridge was designed by architects Nathan C.
